Donald Trump will easily win the Wall Street vote!

President Donald Trump in February 2016:

“I know the guys at Goldman Sachs. They have total, total control over him (Ted Cruz). Just like they have total control over Hillary Clinton.”

Times have changed and there are now suggestions to rename the “East Wing” to “Hedge Fund Headquarters.”

Or more accurately – “GS Village in the Capitol.” This is the place where old bean counters and masters of economic disaster gather to decide how much financial misery the “little people” will endure without revolting.

A good and quick example is Anthony Scaramucci, He worked at Goldman Sachs‘s Investment Banking, Equities, and Private Wealth Management divisions from 1989 to 1996. Flamboyant, like his fictional counterpart, he lasted ten days before Trump replaced him with a retired general. The president’s picks for his cabinet tend to be either Wall Street bankers or multi-star generals. Guns and promises of rose gardens?

But GS and the financial class are hardly left without influence, despite Continue reading →

J Street – funded by George Soros and ilk – will lose much power with Obama gone from White House

video courtesy of http://thejstreetchallenge.com

J Street is an alt-left group that wants Israel to return to the 1948 borders, leaving the country nine miles wide at its narrowest. It approves of removing all Jews from the West Bank, just as all Jews were removed from Gaza, and ignores the fact that there are some two million Arab full citizens in Israel.

And J Street believes that the United States should intervene to force this solution on the government of Israel.

Why would any organization approve of eliminating the entire Jewish population of a contested zone, leaving an Arab country that is “Jew-free”, just like Gaza, Lebanon, Iran, Saudi Arabia, etc. Simply said, J Street believes it’s okay for Jews to be excluded totally from Arab nations, but Arabs must have full rights (they do) in Israel. Baraka smears Barack, Israel and Sanders in VP bid

ajamu_barakaGreen Party Presidential nominee Jill Stein‘s Vice President running mate, Ajamu Baraka, could be a step away from running our federal government. And that is frightening.

Baraka called Barack Obama an “Uncle Tom president.”  He is not happy with the government or much else.

He tweeted about the Baltimore riots:

“Don’t let Obama and the Democrats off the hook. They are using the state to suppress resistance while giving defacto impunity to cops that kill black and poor people across the country.”

He seems to prefer Donald Trump over President Obama: Continue reading →

After killing 58,307 American soldiers, Vietnam wins again, along with Boeing and Pratt & Whitney

President Barack Obama has lifted the decades-long U.S. arms embargo against Vietnam, allowing sales of deadly weapons to a government that killed or wounded more than 200,000 Americans.

The final surrender is very good for big business, lobbyists and campaign contributors to politicians. The decision is also a desecration of American lives lost, soldiers Continue reading →

New Benghazi report damns the White House Dems; view committee’s entire 800-page proposed text here

Route to Annex“What difference does it make?”

This is a banner day for the soon-to-be Democrat candidate for USA President, as the FBI Director described use of a private server in her basement as only “extremely careless,” despite 2,000 classified emails stored at home without government servers’ anti-hacking protection. His recommendation was to do nothing, even though knowingly exposing national secrets to foreign governments is a criminal act.

MapThe candidate’s husband met with the Director’s boss, the Attorney General,  a few days ago in a plane after emptying it of reporters and the Secret Service. Reports from the two politicians described it as G & G – meaning golf and grandchildren. Other reporters said the confab was accidental, but those pundits probably also believe in the bicuspid bully.

The recent forgiveness of her serious crime was not limited to electronic mail. A few days ago, the press agreed that “nothing new” was contained in the Select Committee on Benghazi proposed report that damned the state department, which the candidate once headed.

The report was most concerned with events leading to the deaths of Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods, emphasizing that there was very much that was new in the revelations. The committee’s own analysis of their report follows: Continue reading →

There’s little love in Paris this Springtime, as French President uses executive power to crush labor rights

Best of times for very rich; worst for the working class!

France’s President Francois Hollande has learned many lessons on how to offer false promises from America’s President Barack Obama, who campaigned in 2008 with the following plans:

  • convince the working class you stand for better wages and stronger unions
  • say you will reduce  job competition by ending reckless import of foreign labor
  • suggest you will renegotiate current income-lowering trade deals that send factories overseas
  • pledge to cut outsourcing jobs to new trade “partners”
  • offer to increase social benefits for the middle class
  • bring taxes for the very rich back up to fair, historic levels

The day he took office, Obama began breaking promises:

  • The “goal” of passing card check for unions was forgotten.
  • The number of Visas was increased and illegal aliens were not stopped at the border.
  • He began negotiating for even more trade deals, didn’t touch NAFTA, and instead praised it.
  • A loss every month in total manufacturing jobs in America was ignored by the White House
  • Instead of increasing aid for workers, he formed a commission to cut Social Security benefits
  • When Bush tax cuts expired, Obama agreed to lowest tax rates for very rich since FDR.

White House intervenes in PA conviction for sanctioning brutal murder of 33 Jews, says Arabs can’t afford $30 million a month

TelAviv Bombing

Israel Bus Bomb Attack in Tel Aviv

The Obama administration has gone to a New York court to insure the finances of the Palestinian Authority stay rock solid, despite conviction by an American court in connection with the murder of 33 Jews and injuries to 450 others.

Obama’s justice department asked a United States judge yesterday (Aug. 10) to “carefully consider” the size of the bond he sets for the Palestinian Authority while it appeals an award for damages in deaths and injuries of Americans in six terror attacks in Israel.

The payment suggested by the plaintiffs was $30 million a month – an amount insignificant in the Arab world economies. For example, the payment would represent one six-millionth of the annual GDP of Qatar, the great supporter of  Hamas and other Palestinian causes. Despite the miniscule amount, the Obama team maintains the economic impact would devastate the “Authority” and cause its downfall.

Not mentioned in the White House intervention is that the P.A. is headed to the International Criminal Court to attack Israel for imagined war crimes, and this would set Continue reading →

Cartoons in Arab publications mock Obama and Iran Deal

The following cartoons from the Arab press are highly critical of Israel, Kerry, Obama and the framework of the Iran deal or the descriptions leaked of the plan. In countries where freedom of the press barely exists, this kind of opinion is usually only allowed when approved by their government.

Even a small third party would exert tremendous influence on economic policies with swing vote

Jared Bernstein recently asked how we can move forward with economic change in this country. Mine was one of many fine answers:

The political solution to your question is even more politics. Two parties that espouse different social value views, but the same basic economic principles, now also decide in favor of the class that sustains them – the wealthy. Other nations have third and fourth parties that concentrate almost solely on things like minimum wage, paid leave, universal healthcare. When you vote for them, you vote for your pocketbook, not whether or not the Easter bunny should be included in public school books.

Both of our major parties have tremendous baggage if they try to attract votes from the other party’s social issue spectrum. Why would a very religious, pro-life person vote for a liberal, who may agree with a hike in the minimum wage, but also vigorously supports abortion or extreme secularism.

The Democratic Party will never attract the working class vote, because it has too many litmus tests. Do you agree that guns should be nearly banned? Do you approve of in-state tuition for folks who are not even American citizens? And on the other side, do you believe that we should have prayer in school and the world was created less than 4,000 years ago?

An economic party with candidates that only stood for fairness in income distribution and all the common sense worker protections, might elect ten or fifteen Senators, a couple dozen Representatives – not enough to select the Senate Majority leader or Speaker of the House, but enough to create a swing vote that represented the people’s financial interests, a block that would need to be consulted for its support.

A small third party would also be immune to the usual Washington advancement pressures. A minority party would be doomed to never electing a President on its own, but it would also permit its members to be their own man or woman.

$6,000 healthcare deductible lowers birth rate in the U.S. and keeps many from marrying

Some pundits have recently commented on other blogs that the birth rate seems to be declining among middle class citizens.

In my opinion much of this terrible trend is caused by economics – newly minted healthcare insurance plans that no longer just require co-pays, but have a huge first contribution.
When a family has to pay the first $6,000 in healthcare costs in a year – having a baby is suddenly a very expensive proposition, especially if you are below the median $32,000 annual earnings level.
It doesn’t impact Medicaid pregnancies for the poor (virtually no cost), nor do the rich consider $6,000 much more than chump change.
A single plan doesn’t cover any costs of pregnancy. And if you get a family plan when already pregnant, it doesn’t cover childbirth or its complications, if any.
So, it is not just inequality of income that is threatening to destroy the middle class, it is the extreme costs of having a baby, even with insurance.
Another result of this high healthcare pregnancy cost is its affect on marriage rates. A single woman with no income qualifies for Medicaid, which pays for her childbirth at no real cost to her. If married most women would find that their husband’s income raises their family to a level that does not qualify for Medicaid. Not surprisingly, folks figure out what is best for their finances and don’t get married, as shown by declining marriage rates.
