ABC election poll is off the charts and should be excluded from list of Real Clear Politics’ results

hillary-pollsThe average of all polls measuring voter sentiment in the 2016 Presidential race, except ABC, showed former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton ahead today of Donald Trump by 45.3 to 39.9, or a spread of 5.4. The poll results are updated daily by Real Clear Politics.

For the past two days ABC has reported a spread of 12 points – more than twice the average of all the other polls.

USS Mason jarred by Iranian missiles, despite our State Department approving $150 billion to Iran

A high ranking U.S. official, suggested on Sunday that the missiles fired by Houthis at the destroyer USS Mason on three attacks, while it was in the Gulf of Aden, were provided by Iran. Senator John McCain and others strongly agreed.

The failed missile attack from Iranian-backed rebel-held territory in Yemen came as news reports from Tehran revealed other Iranian-made ballistic missiles – “Zalzal 3” – were launched by the alliance of rebels and followers of ousted Yemeni president, Ali Abdullah Saleh, to hit various Saudi targets. Gary Johnson wants you to retire at 72, even later than Hillary Clinton and Bowles-Simpson Plan

When Gary Johnson was running for President in 2012, he explained his position on reducing Social Security benefits:

Social Security really needs to be reformed. Medicaid probably needs to be capped when it comes to the states. Medicare, there needs to be some sort of means testing.

The (Social Security) retirement age needs to be raised. A portion of Social Security ought to be privatized, if not all. And there probably needs to be some means testing. It’s a Ponzi scheme that’s not sustainable.

“Citing a story in USA Today, which reported that a rash of retirements in 2009 is pushing Social Security to the brink, Johnson said the retirement age needs to be raised perhaps to 70 or 72. “This is the reality, we’re broke,” Johnson said in 2012. Continue reading →
