How to instantly add $54 billion to Trump budget revenues and end every cut to every department

It’s as easy as: one, two, three!

The 2018 Donald Trump Federal Budget can be balanced, even when including nearly $54 billion in increased Defense Department spending, and not one federal department would require any cuts in spending.

These are the proposed $54 billion in department cuts that would not have to take effect under my 123 Plan:

Agriculture 2018 Budget

  • Eliminates $500 million Water and Wastewater loan/grant program
  • Eliminates $200 million McGovern-Dole International Food for Education program
  • Cuts Women, Infants and Children nutrition assistance from $6.4 billion to $6.2 billion
  • Unspecified staff reductions at USDA service center agencies
  • Cuts $95 million from Rural Business and Cooperative Service

Bush & Romney warn they may vote Libertarian for Gary Johnson, recent CEO of Cannabis Sativa, Inc.

Gary

Johnson also ran in 2012 for President

UPDATE: (July 23, 2016) Rumors swirling today that Jeb Bush may announce that he will vote for Gary Johnson, joining the smoking car on the Libertarian train to nowhere  No word yet from Bush the elder, Bush the brother or mama Bush.

Former Republican Presidential nominee Willard Mitt Romney said recently he would not vote for presumptive nominee Donald Trump in the general election in November and would consider voting for Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson.

Romney’s running mate in 2012, Paul Ryan, has also been described as a Libertarian, although he votes as a Republican. His consideration to vote for Johnson, Romney explained, is because he doesn’t regard Donald Trump as a true conservative. Johnson ran against Romney in 2012 for the nomination.

Here’s what “true conservative” Gary Johnson believes, gleaned from press interviews: Continue reading →

Primary debates hide questions on Social Security! If we knew their actual plans, nearly all would lose

socsec1

Republican candidates for President have avoided using the Primary debates to explain their plans for Social Security. Exceptions include Chris Christie, who saw his ratings collapse after publicly urging that the retirement age be hiked, and Donald Trump, who said he would not cut benefits.

Ben Carson has not settled yet on a stance, except to remind us that life expectancy has increased. As a doctor, he must realize that today, fewer babies die at birth and feeble seniors are kept alive, but not active, for decades.

On the Democrat side Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders want hikes in benefits for lowest earners and some kind of increase in the payroll wage tax cap.

First, the GOP.

  • John Kasich, Ted Cruz, George Bush and Marco Rubio all want to raise the retirement Continue reading →

Koch & Iran deal – GOP candidates may be liars

John Glaser and Justin Logan, writing on the CATO Institute website have claimed that the deal with Iran to delay making atomic bombs “is an historic achievement that decreases the likelihood of an Iranian nuclear weapon and forestalls the risk of another costly U.S. war in the Middle East.”

The near-consensus among arms controllers is due to the deal’s strong nonproliferation features. Under the deal, Iran would reduce its stockpile of centrifuges by two-thirds and dismantle about 97% of its low-enriched uranium. For 15 years, the Iranians will be prohibited from enriching any uranium at their Fordow site and the Arak reactor for plutonium production would be permanently disabled, CATO braintrusters assert..

Throughout, Iran would be subject to one of the most robust and intrusive inspection regimes in the world, with continuous video monitoring of its uranium mines for the next 25 years and monitoring of centrifuge production facilities for 20 years. Expanded inspections under the Additional Protocol are permanent.

The CATO Institute is a libertarian organization founded as the Charles Koch Foundation in 1974 by Ed Crane, Murray Rothbard, and Charles Koch.

Yes, that Charles Koch, darling of the conservative wing of the GOP, son of Fred Koch, founder of the John Birch Society. Originally, CATO was called the Charles Koch Continue reading →

Jeb Bush wants to steal $48,060 from each of us with brutal Social Security cuts. His rich backers are overjoyed at scheme!

SIMI VALLEY, CA - MARCH 08: Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush speaks at the Reagan Library after autographing his new book

He doesn’t need no “stinking Social Security”!

The median Social Security benefit in the United States is $1,335 a month, before they take out monthly $100+ in Medicare premiums. Jeb Bush, the somewhat fat and very goofy brother of former President George Bush, wants to steal that benefit, not for one month, but for 36 months, or a total of $48,060. What will you get in return – probably just a chance to say you contributed to lower taxes for rich families like the Bushes.

Jeb thinks this plan will win him the Presidency, which is why it was announced today with a peculiar thought process  that surrounds most petulant aristocrats. Jeb knows the very rich just don’t need Social Security. Most make more in a day than you will earn in benefits in a year.

The math of these cuts is revealing. About 99% of the folks who currently live to 67 Continue reading →
