$4,000 Wage hike “Fake News” from the White House – whatever happened to Trump promise of “no taxes for a couple earning less than $50,000”

UPDATE to April 2017 post, Russian Dossier with complete text: DNC and Clinton campaign paid for Fusion GPS  report used by FBI to investigate President.

The following was emailed to me on Saturday from the White House.

TAX CUTS FOR REAL AMERICANS

President Trump is working harder than ever to bring tax reform to middle class Americans, including the biggest tax cut in American history. This week, the President took his case to conservative leaders, seeking their support in pushing Congress to pass a tax reform bill, he said, “We need…help…to get our tax cuts through the house, through the Senate, and to my desk for signature.” Now is the time for all Republicans in Congress and maybe even patriotic Democrats to come together and support major tax reform that will boost wages and deliver families a $4,000 annual pay raise. We must get Congress on board, in order to deliver tax relief to hard-working Americans. Call and remind your Representative and Senators to support the President’s Middle Class Miracle today.

Although I am retired and there is no boss to give me a pay raise, I imagined that, at least, my children and grandchildren would benefit, and perhaps send me a fancier birthday card or buy me a funny hat with all the extra cash in their checking accounts.

And after learning that I am a “Real American”, according to this government email, I wondered: “could this $4,000 pay raise be real?” I turned to YouTube, where your computer screen seems to come alive with the voice of Mr. Trump and Bill Nye, among others, and found the President making this same promise: Continue reading →

Foreigners take our best jobs under H-1B scheme; video exposes “fake news” approach at CNN!

American universities produce the best software engineers, IT managers and programmers  in the world, but many can’t find a job or have taken pay cuts in recent years.

India’s Navin Kabra, 20+ years of being a software engineer at various levels, explains why in a comment on Quora:

Because there are too many software engineers in India, and not enough in the US.

Because India is churning out 1 million new engineers every year, whereas the industry requires only about 200,000 of them.

Because the “average” fresh software engineering graduate in India can barely program, and 40% of them fail the Fizz Buzz test (as per actual data we’ve collected over the last 2 years), whereas the average software engineering graduate in the US is likely to be much better (as per my anecdotal data).

Kahra was answering this question:

Why is the median salary of a software engineer in India around Rs 3.6 Lakh, whereas in US it is $71k(ie Rs 44Lakh), which is nearly 12.4 times that of India, but the cost of living or equivalent salary of US is considered to be only 4 to 5 times that of Indian salary?

Which brings me to the one bright hope in recent years that the abominable H-1B Continue reading →

Fake news portrays American Blacks as lower class, victims in desperate need of help from politicians

Are most American Blacks struggling to someday be as successful as the average White?

If you watch the mainstream media, listen to college professors or pay attention to politicians, you might conclude that Blacks in America are in deep trouble.

The most common fake news is that nearly all Blacks have been denied entry into the middle class for a variety of reasons, and experts (mostly White) are needed to solve this problem.

Endless hours are spent on talk shows and in classrooms arguing about what are the correct solutions to this alleged rampant inequality problem. White privilege is blamed. Slavery is cited. Reparations are urged. The whole country is in a frenzy about Blacks and the middle class. Continue reading →
