“I was thinking that I could get up on stage and take his podium away from him and take his mike away from him and send a message to all people out in the country who wouldn’t consider themselves racist, who wouldn’t consider themselves approving of what type of violence Donald Trump is allowing in his rallies, and send them a message that we can be strong, that we can find our strength and we can stand up against Donald Trump and against this new wave he’s ushering in of truly just violent white supremacist ideas,” Tommy DiMassimo told CNN in an exclusive (paid?) interview Sunday on the network. CNN’s Martin Savidge reported from Fairborn, Ohio, and Dana Ford wrote from Atlanta. CNN’s Jeremy Diamond, Eugene Scott and Sarah Aarthun contributed to the report.
But DiMassimo, 22, didn’t make it to the podium. He was tackled by Secret Service officers, and members of Trump’s security detail rushed to cover the candidate.
“…I was thinking that Donald Trump is a bully, and he is nothing more than that. He is somebody who is just saying a lot of bold things, he’s making bold claims. But I can see right through that and I can see that he’s truly just a coward. And he’s opportunistic and he’s willing to destroy this country for power for himself,” DiMassimo said.
Why would CNN interview a thug who stormed the podium and was dragged out by the Secret Service? One reason is that Donald Trump might have gained sympathy for being unjustly attacked by a nut job. CNN was not going to let that happen.
Instead, the network portrayed DiMassimo as someone unhappy with “violent white supremacist ideas”, who wanted to “send a message to all people out in the country who wouldn’t consider themselves racist.”
CNN staff (100s of reporters and editors) knew better when they aired the interview. It was deliberate propaganda – a false story to portray Tommy’s hatred of Trump as a justifiable reaction caused by Trump.
Five minutes of internet research by an eight-year-old would have revealed the truth: Tommy DiMassimo is no angel – exactly the opposite. For one, he is hardly so clean cut as CNN makeup managed to produce for the interview;, which made him suddenly looked more like Jeremy Piven than Charles Manson.

A fourth year acting major at Wright State University, Tommy founded of “Sons of Rhea”, a film production company with a YouTube channel that features his work.
To determine what CNN producers know and didn’t tell you, review the Rhea production called “Red, Black and Blue” from September, last year. You can skip the first 25 or so minutes and get right to the heart of the message.
If you don’t want to wade through the blathering dialogue, Tommy provides a trailer for the film, which is a as brief as it is brutal.
Recalling the assassinations by evil, vicious, nut-jobs of leaders like John F. Kennedy, Robert Kennedy and Martin Luther King, consider what should be done with current day maniacs and violent hate mongers. The answer is certainly not a lucrative CNN interview, 15 minutes of fame and a slap on the wrist.
